What does Results Driven really mean? Being results driven is often an overused term that means “doing whatever it takes to get the job done.” It’s sometimes synonymous with “a bull in a china shop”. Those aren’t terms that we associate with. Quite the contrary. We employ a tactfulness that our clients appreciate and have come to expect.
All the consultants at Strategic Voyages are considerate of the “bigger picture” when giving advice. More important than achieving results today is providing the type of advice and solutions that have an impact that lasts well beyond the consulting engagement. Those are the results we want to have.
Often times, this means our consultants embrace the “heart of a teacher” when they’re consulting. They take the time to teach clients and business leaders how to think more strategically, how to improve their ability to lead, how to be more objective in their decision making, and how to stay laser focused on their high income producing activities.
This Forbes article gives the three keys to building a results oriented culture in your company. The three keys are; co-create learning and development opportunities, increase feedback frequency, and nix the red tape. We don’t just do these things internally. We do all of these things with our clients in an effort to deliver high impact consulting advice that lasts past our engagement. Those are the types of results we’re focused on.
Whatever type of engagement we’re in, we want to be so impactful to our clients so they learn, grow, and become strategic in their own way.
